The court ruled today that the Israeli businessman transferred starting materials for nerve and mustard gas and advised Iran how to build a plant to produce the dangerous gasses. The judges said Manbar transferred 24 truckloads with 150 tons of starting materials for nerve and mustard gas. They also said he advised the Iranians how to build a plant for manufacturing dangerous gasses. The Iranian government reportedly paid Manbar $16 million for his efforts. Using unusually harsh language, Judge Amnon Strachnow described Manbar as a traitor, a manipulator, and a liar. Strachnow said, ``There is no end or limit to his lies, he scattered them around the courtroom.'' The judge added, ``He played a double game knowing full well he is selling Iran know-how, equipment and materials to produce chemical weapons, severely harming Israel's security.'' Manbar claimed he had Israeli permits to deal with Iran and was not the only one who did it. He said, ``If I was convicted then 100 or 200 other people must also be convicted.''
