People like Mr Bodansky, who seem to enjoy quoting
anti-Jewish
articles
without any deeper analysis, should also
contemplate the reasons within Judaism behind these
quoting.
If the Jews in Israel and elsewhere started to
adopt some self-criticism - instead of just groan
about the protest against Jewish Israelian
terrorist deeds - Israel could maybe get some real
chances of surviving in the long run of
history.
My concise piece of advise is to read Israel
Shahak, an Israelian emancipated from Jewish
Orthodoxy and Zionism, who has taken upon himself
the role of an intellectual renegade, like
Solsjenitsyn in former Soviet Union.
Shahak has written a
book
named "Jewish History, Jewish Religion", which
should be somewhere here at Radio Islam´s Home
Page.
Without accepting plain racialism in any form,
Shahak analyses and deplore the xenofobic aspects
of Jewish Orthodoxy. Reading this book is a must
for those interested in a deeper understanding in
the Jewish religion.
