Amna Marda, born 1922, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972
and placed in administrative detention.

Lina Marei, 15, of Jenin, was arrested in 1974 and fined
IL 5,000. Remarks: schoolgirl demonstration; father refused
to pay and she was imprisoned.

Warda Marei of the West Bank was arrested in 1972.

Iffat Marqa of Jerusalem was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 3 months imprisonment.

Fatma Martim of Gaza was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 2 years imprisonment.

Ayesha Mas/Hasam/Bassam, born 1953, of Gaza, was
arrested in 1971.

Ferial Mazin of Ramallah was arrested in 1977 and sentenced
to 1 1/2 years imprisonment with 3 years suspended.
Remarks: distributed pamphlets, prepared explosives.

Halima Mazkiya of Tireh was arrested in 1975 and sentenced
to 2 1/2 years imprisonment. Remarks: Fateh; student.

Amira Mejis, 17, of Nawaqir Bedu, was arrested in 1972.
Remarks: daughter of Diba.

Diba Mejis, 50, of Nawaqir Bedu, was arrested in 1972
and placed in administrative detention for 21 days. Remarks:
suspected of forming Fateh cell.

Nadia Mejis, 22, of Nawaqir Bedu, was arrested in 1972.
Remarks: daughter of Diba.

Azzat Mekkawi, 26, of Nablus, was arrested in 1972.
Remarks: endangering public order.

Dr. Hanan Mikhail of Ramallah was arrested in 1973 and
placed in administrative detention. Remarks: incitement
against occupation.

Aysha Milat of Gaza was arrested in 1975.

Yusra Misk, born 1952, of Hebron, was arrested in 1974.
Remarks: Fateh.

Aysha Mohammad of Nablus was arrested in 1971 and
sentenced to one month imprisonment.

Farida Mohammad of Gaza was arrested in 1976 and

Adela Moussa, born 1950, of Gaza camp, was arrested in
1972 and placed in administrative detention.

Amira Moussa/Hour, 17, of Khan Yunis, was arrested in
1970 and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. Remarks:
PFLP and grenade attack.

Bahiya Moussa of Ramallah was arrested in 1977 and
sentenced to one year imprisonment. Remarks: distributed
pamphlets.

Bassima Moussa, born 1962, of Jenin, was arrested in 1978
and sentenced to 9 months imprisonment with 9 months
suspended. Remarks: opposing the occupation, contacts with
illegal organization.

Raeda Moussa of Jerusalem was arrested in 1975 and
sentenced to 4 months imprisonment.

Safiya/Hania Moussa, 60, of Ramallah, was arrested in
1977 and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks:
caught giving leaflets to her son in Beersheba prison (3 life
sentences): two other sons deported, a fourth killed for the
cause.

Nufuth Muffatish, 24, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1969
and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: contacts
with resistance.

Mother of Hassan Mujayed, 60, of Mujdal Krum, was
arrested in 1970. Remarks: gave good, clothing to son, "infiltrator"
from Lebanon, who returned there after 1/2 hour
visit.

Madiha Mullat was arrested in 1972 and sentenced to one
month imprisonment.

Yusra Musadar of Mughazi camp was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to 9 months imprisonment.

Itis Muslem of the West Bank was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to 14 months imprisonment. Remarks: father lorry
driver, smuggled explosives from Jordan which she handed
to other parties; "court lenient as she is backward."

Hurriya Musmar, 34, of Gaza, was arrested in 1973 and
sentenced to six months imprisonment with one year
suspended. Remarks: failed to report brother's activity's;
'Gaza's Guevara" killed in their house, which was
demolished to punish them.

Kawkab Musmar, 42, of Gaza, was arrested in 1973 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment with one year
suspended. Remarks: failed to report husband's activities;
teacher; house demolished.

Samia Mustafa of Bethlehem was arrested and sentenced
to 13 years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP and put explosives
in crate of oranges.

Mariam Naaman of Beit Safafa was arrested in 1970.
Remarks: member illegal organization; schoolgirl.

Hiba Nabulsi of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 9 months imprisonment. Remarks: Randa's sister;
schoolgirl.

Randa Nabulsi, 17, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 10 (12?) years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP
and Supersol explosion; schoolgirl; tortured; deported 1971.

Saada Nabulsi, 24, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with a fine of IL 5,000.
Remarks: Randa hid weapons in her room at vocational
college where she was taught.

Aida Naher of Gaza was arrested in 1973.

Wafa Najari of Nablus was arrested in 1976,

Najla Najaya of Nablus was arrested in 1976.

Fatma Najjar of Sinai was arrested in 1975.

Samira Najm, 23, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 197 1 and
sentenced to one year and three months imprisonment.
Remarks: Fateh; not tried.

Fatma Najuli, 24, of Gaza, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks: UNRWA
nurse, treated man injured in explosion; Egypt complained to
UN Secretary General that Israel violated 2 international
conventions in imprisoning her.

Hanan Nakhleh, born 1958, of Lydda, was arrested in
1979. Remarks: Fateh.

Soheir Nasr of Jerusalem was arrested in 1973 and sentenced
to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: links with Arab
countries.

Jamila Nassar, 40's, of Rama, was arrested in 197 1 and
sentenced to 4 months imprisonment with 20 months
suspended. Remarks: fed and helped commando brother in
law.

Rabia Nasser, born 1944, of Gaza camp was arrested in
1972 and sentenced to 2 1/2 years imprisonment.

Zahia Naufal of Gaza camp was arrested in 1972.

Arefa Nazzal, born 1922, of Nablus was arrested in 1973.

Fawzia Neseiho of Gaza was arrested in 1972.

Samia Nezi'l of Khan Yunis was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 3 months imprisonment.

Mazna Nicola, 28, of Yafa (Nazareth) was arrested in 1975
and sentenced to 1 1/2 years imprisonment with 2 1/2 years
suspended. Remarks: Fateh, gathered information and tried
to recruit; nurse; lawyer Langer said confession extracted
under duress.

Simona Nimr, 20's, of Nahariya, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 9 days imprisonment. Remarks: Suspected involvement
in Haifa explosions; Israeli Jewess, converted
after marriage to Palestinian.

Sonia Nimr, born 1955, of Jenin, was arrested in 1976 and
sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. Remarks: DFLP member.
Khadra Obeid of Gaza was arrested in 1974 and sentenced
to 1 1/2 years imprisonment.

Khawla Obeid of al-Bireh was arrested in 1975 and sentenced
to one year imprisonment.
Ne'mat Obeid of Nablus was arrested in 1972 and sentenced
to 40 days imprisonment.
Hayat Obeida, 18 (19?) of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1969
and sentenced to 13 months administrative detention.
Remarks: never tried; sister of Rashida, who escaped to
Amman.

Wife of Said Obeidi, of Ramallah, was arrested in 1970.
Remarks: helped commandos.

Aysha Odeh, born 1944, of Deir Jerber (Jerusalem) was
arrested in 1969 and given two life sentences plus 10 years.
Remarks: PFLP and Supersol, British Consulate explosions;
teacher; severely tortured, moved to hospital after interrogation;
house demolished.

Fathiya Odeh of Ramallah was arrested in 1977 and fined
IL 10,000. Remarks: Demonstration; schoolgirl; 3 months jail
for father if fine not paid.

Fatma Odeh, 23 (27?), of Lifta, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 18 days imprisonment. Remarks: no charge;
paralyzed sister of Rasmiya.

Hurriy/Soraya Odeh, 18, of Dora, was arrested in 1975.
Remarks: led Fateh cell; tortured during 47-day interrogation.

Laila Odeh, 17, of Lifta, was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to about 1 1/2 years in administrative detention.
Remarks: never tried; Rasmiya's sister.

Nuha Odeh, 17, of Lifta, was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 14 days in administrative detention. Remarks:
deported; family home demolished; Rasmiya's cousin;
schoolgirl.

Rasmiya Odeh, born 1948, of Lifta, was arrested in 1969
and given 3 life sentences plus ten years. Remarks: PFLP and
Supersol, British Consulate explosions; university student;
severely tortured; family home demolished.

Kathnat Omar, 20, of Hebron, was arrested in 1970.
Remarks: Resistance member and recruited; tortured.

Khitam Omar, born 1952, was arrested in Hebron in
1975.

Fatma Omeira of Nablus was arrested in 1972 and sentenced
to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks: helped resistance.

Hana Omeira, born 1948, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1971 and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

Hayat Omeira of Jerusalem was arrested in 1977.
Remarks: contacts with resistance in Lebanon, Syria and
Kuwait; after 2 days of interrogation had to be moved to
hospital; husband is a journalist.

Ibtissain OmeirdOmra, born 1951, of Nablus, was arrested
in1970 and sentenced to 5 1/2 years imprisonment and
fined. Remarks: Fateh and weapons training.

Samiha Omran of Gaza was arrested in 1972 and sentenced
to 3 months imprisonment.

Samar Oreiqat of Jericho (Abu Dis?) was arrested in 1974
and fined IL 6,000. Remarks: student demonstration; rearrested
in 1979.

Nadra Osta of Nablus was arrested in 1974. Remarks:
helped prisoners families.

Zainab Oteimi of Gaza was arrested in 1975 and sentenced
to 1 1/2 years imprisonment. Remarks: Fateh.

Badawiya Oweiss, 21, of Jenin, was arrested in 1974.
Remarks: weapons training.

Nadia Oweiss, of Jenin, was arrested and sentenced to 5
years imprisonment.

Aida Qumri, 22, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 1 year and 8 months administrative detention.
Remarks: contacts with sister Wadad who had escaped; tortured;
released because ill.

Laila Qumri, 32, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 2 years and 4 months administrative detention.

Samar/Narriman QuteimaIQuteina, 15, of Jerusalem, was
arrested in 1974 and sentenced to 6 (7?) months imprisonment.
Remarks: PNF member.

Riba Rajoudi of Mughazi camp was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to one year imprisonment.

Inam Rakou' of Gaza was arrested in 1975 and sentenced
to 21 months imprisonment.

Karima Ratroot, born 1958, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1976 and sentenced to 1 year and 4 months imprisonment.

Abir Rimawi, of Ramallah, was arrested in 1975 and
sentenced to administrative detention. Remarks: university
student; period of detention renewed in 1978.

Khadija Ruman/Abu-Ruman, born 1951, of Jerusalem,
was arrested in 1974 and sentenced to 2 1/2 years imprisonment.
Remarks: university student; leader of Fateh cell; four
men arrested with her.

Aida Saad, born 1951, of Gaza, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to life (20 years?) imprisonment. Remarks: Fateh
and threw grenade that wounded 4 Israeli soldiers in patrol
jeep; family home demolished; Jordan protested to UN
Secretary-General about her torture.

Mother and sister of Aida Saad, of Gaza, were arrested in
1969 and sentenced to 5 days in prison. Remarks: arrested
with Aida and interrogated; sister is blind.

Fakhriya Saadeh, 18, of Jenin, was arrested in 1977 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks: member illegal
organization.

Ummaya Saadeh of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 4 months plus IL 150. Remarks: distributed
pamphlets.

Viola Saadeh, 18, was arrested in 1979 and sentenced to
12 years imprisonment. Remarks: placed bomb near Jaffa
Gate: member of group that carried out several operations.

Ne'mat Sadek, 14, of Nablus area, was arrested in 1968.
Remarks: worked as shepherdess after school hours, met
commandos in the fields and hid them in cave.

Salwa Sahar, 33, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1969.
Remarks: funeral procession for Tamimi.

Samia Sais, born 1948, of Nablus, was arrested in 1971
and sentenced to 10 months imprisonment.

Ardbiya SajaydSagair, 60, of Majdal Krum, was arrested
in 1970 and given a 2 year suspended sentence. Remarks:
failed to report her commando son who infiltrated from
Lebanon, although she sent him away.

Saadiya Sakkar of Deir al-Balah was arrested in 1976 and
sentenced to 8 months imprisonment. Remarks: contacts with
resistance; mother of 8

in I970 and sentenced to 3 1/2 years imprisonment. Remarks:
helped resistance.

Aysha Salama of Mughazi camp was aqested in 1969 and
sentenced to 7 months administrative detention.

Ghaliya Salama, born 1945, of Gaza, was arrested in 1973
and sentenced to 1 month administrative detention. Remarks:
knew of husband's activities.

Majida SalamdSuleima, 20, of Jerusalem, was arrested in
1978 and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. Remarks:
Fateh; 8 months pregnant, one small child at home.

Raiya Salama, 50, of Shati camp, was arrested in 1973 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks: helped commandos;
never admitted the charge.

Ayman Saleh of Nablus was arrested in 1977 and sentenced
to 2 months imprisonment.

Aysah Saleh, born 1916, of Gaza, was arrested in 1976 and
sentenced to 16 months imprisonment.

Hanem Saleh of Gaza was arrested in 1972.

Najah Saleh, born 1946, of the West Rank, was arrested in
1976 and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment with I year
suspended.

Nuha Saleh, bom 1939, of Rir E i t , was arrested in I976
and sentenced to 7 months imprisonment.

Sawsam Saleh, 20, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 11 months imprisonment. Remarks: suspected
PFLP; never tried for lack of proofi deported 1970; daughter
of former defence minister.

Ferial Salem of Ramallah district was arrested in 1977.
Remarks: demonswation against Sadat's visit to Jerusalem;
wounded in explosion; released March 1979.

Sheraide Saler, born 1950, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1972.

Najila Samhan of Tulkm was arrested in 1975.

Fawzia Samorra of Gaza was arrested in 1972.

Nahida Sandouqa of Ramallah was arrested in 1977 and
sentenced to 3 months imprisonment plus IL 10,000.
Remarks: demonstration; schoolgirl.

Fathiya Sarakji of Nablus was arrested in 1974 and given
a life imprisoment. Remarks: possession of explosives.

Wijdan Sarawi, born 1960, of NabSus, was arrested in 1978
and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment with 3 years
suspended. Remarks: resisting occupation and demonstration.

Amina Sari of Nazareth was arrested in 1970 and sentenced
to I5 days administrative detention. Remarks:
demonstration in support of prisoners.

Aida Sarsak of Gaza was arrested in 1973.

Sobhiya Sarsak of Gaza was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 4 years imprisonment.

HaniaiSalrna Sawarka, born 1947, of Gaza was arrested in
1974 and sentenced to 18 months ahinistrative detention.
Remarks: helped a commando.

Brigit Schultz, born 1951, of West Germany, was arrested
in 1976 and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment. Remarks:
arrested in Kenya, charged with attempted hijack of El Al
plane with another Geman and 3 Arabs; secretly taken to
Israel; for 14 months authorities denied holding her; her
mother has charged that she was tortured.

Samira Seif was arrested in 1972 and sentenced to 18
months imprisonment.

Fathiya Selmi, 36, of Sinai, was arrested in 1971 and
sentenced to 8 months imprisonment.

Raya Shaaban, 51, of Ramleh, was arrested in 1969.
Remarks: arrested with daughter Sobhiya, released on bond,
February 1970.

Sobhiya Shaaban, 18, of Ramleh, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to five years imprisonment. Remarks: Fateh and
connection with bomb in Lydda market.

Aida Shabaan of hebron was arrested in 1976 and sentenced
to 18 months imprisonment.

Insaf Shabaro, 22, of Nablus, was arrested in 1971 and
sentenced to five years imprisonment and fined IL 300.

Yusra Shabi, born 1952, of the West Rank, was arrested
in 1974.

Hiyam Shaddouh of Nablus was arrested in 1971 and

Khadija Shafei, 20's, of Gaza, was arrested in 1970.

Khitam Shafei of the West Bank was arrested in 1975 and
sentenced to one year imprisonment.

Nuzha Shahin, born 1955, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1976 and sentenced to 3 years and 6 months imprisonment.

Raeda Shahin of Nablus was arrested in 1969. Remarks:
comected with resistance activities.

Siham Shahin, 34, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969.
Remarks: deported after 4 days; organized demonstrations.

Murawdr Shaker, of Jericho, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.

Shafiqa Shaker of Jericho was arrested in 1969 and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.

Ummiya Shaker of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and fined
JD 150. Remarks: distributed pamphlets.

Fairouz Shakhshir of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. Remarks: involved in
grenade attacks at labour exchange and other places; possibly
arrested twice.

Mariam Shakhshir, born 1950, of Nablus, was arrested in
1969 and sentenced to life imprisonment plus thirty years.
Remarks: DFLP and placed explosives incafeteriaof Hebrew
University in Jerusalem; severely tortured; very ill in prison.
Najwa Shakhshir, 22, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 5 years plus IL 1,500. Remarks: DFLP.

Hikmiya Shammout, 18, of Nazareth, was arrested in
1971. Remarks: sister of Zakiya; married 2 weeks before
arrest.

Zakiya Shammout, 25, of Nazareth, was arrested in 197 1
and given 2 life sentences. Remarks: PFLP and bomb in Afula
market; 25 were arrested, the largest ring of Israeli Arabs
caught; Zakiya, mother of 4, was pregnant when arrested; her
baby born in prison, spent first 16 months there.

Susan Shanar, 16, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 3 years imprisonment plus IL 1,000 fine.
Remarks: DFLP and hid Rashida Obeida; schoolgirl.

Aida Sharaka of Ramallah district was arrested in 1977
and sentenced to one year imprisonment. Remarks: member
illegal organization and possession of firearms.

Kamila Sharar of Gaza was arrested in 1973,
Ne'mat Sharbini, 21, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969.
Remarks: hid girl involved in Supers01 explosion.

Rawda Sharif, 17, of Hebron, was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP.

Suheir Sharif of Acre was arrested in 1975.

Hiyam Shmukh, 24, of Nablus, was arrested in 197 1 and
sentenced to 5 years imprisonment plus IL 300, Remarks:
Fateh and weapons training.

Bahia Shehadeh, 22, of Ramallah, was arrested in 1978
and sentenced to 1 year imprisonment. Remarks: distributed
pamphlets.

Maazouza Shehadeh of Jabaliya camp was arrested in
1971 and sentenced to 1 month imprisonment. Remarks:
threw stone at military vehicle; schoolgirl.

Wadad Shemali, born 1950, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1978 and sentenced to 8 months imprisonment.

Safiya Shgheiba, born 1954, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972
and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. Remarks: member
illegal organization.

Fatma Shtalat/Shtat, born 1956, of Dhahiriya, was arrested
in 1975 and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Remarks:
raised Palestinian flag at demonstration.

Latifa Shtiwi of Beit Lahia was arrested in 1971 and
sentenced to 8 months imprisonment, Remarks: member
resistance organization.

Fawziya Sifim, born 1939, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972.

Nina Sindaha, 27, of Beit Hanina, was arrested in 1969.
Remarks: walked in Tamimi's funeral cortege; second arrest
for demonstration on May 15 when she was beaten.

Subhiya SkeiWSukkar, 20, of Gaza, was arrested in 1969
and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: supplied
Aida Saad with grenades.

Iman Smadi, 2O5s, of Nablus, was arrested in 1976 and
sentenced to 2 months imprisonment. Remarks: rearrested in
1977, sentenced to 3 1/2 years imprisonment for distributing
pamphlets against Sadat's visit to Jerusalem and DFLP;
teacher.

Mona Soudi, born 1945, of Amman, was arrested in 1969
and sentenced to 2 1 days imprisonment. Remarks: arrested in
Copenhagen while organizing exhibition of children's paintings
and accused of plotting to assassinate Ben-Gurion in
South America; no trial, charges dropped.

Jamila Stretiya of Nablus was arrested in 1976 and sentenced
to 6 months imprisonment.

Fadia Subh/Sukih, 22, of Gaza, was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP and
helped prisoners' families.

Aliya Subeih of Dhahiriya was arrested in 1975. Remarks:
demonstration.

Saada Suwiti of Beit Awa was arrested in 1975.

Noha Sultanian, 22, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1976.

Fattoum Sururi/Soudi of Gaza was arrested in 1976.

Sana Sururi of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 3 months and fined JD 100, Remarks: wrote and distributed
pamphlets.

Suha Sururi of Nablus was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: Supers01 explosion.
Amina Suweida, 24, of the West Bank, was arrested in
1972.

Abla Taha, born 1947, of Jerusalem, was arrested in 1968
and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: pregnant
when arrested at Allenby Bridge, charged with contacts with
the resistance in Amman and smuggling explosives; beaten;
former schoolteacher, working in bank; husband also arrested
although he had not travelled with her.

IkmaI/Iktimal Taha, 15, of Ramallah, was arrested in 1974
and sentenced to 9 months imprisonment. Remarks: member
illegal organization.

Hala Taher, 48, of Nablus, was arrested in 1974 and
sentenced to 20 years imprisonment. Remarks: led Fateh cell;
5 men arrested with her; explosion in their hiding place killed
one, led to discovery; teacher.

Nuha Taher, of Nablus, was arrested in 1976 and sentenced
to 10 months imprisonment.

Zakiya Tahtaka, born 1934, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1972.

Rika Taktaka, 39, of Beit Fajar, was arrested in 1970 and
sentenced to 2 months imprisonment. Remarks: smuggled
arms in box of grapes from Hebron to Nablus.

Wi'am Tamam of Nablus was arrested in 1974 and fined
IL 1,500.

Samiha Tamari of Gaza was arrested in 1970 and sentenced
to 4 years imprisonment.

Rada Tamimi, 17, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to one year imprisonment and fined IL 500.

1969 and sentenced to 4 years plus 3 suspended. Remarks:
PEP and attempted poisoning of collaborators; high school
graduate.

Wife of Qasim Abu-Akr Tamimi, of Jerusalem, was arrested
in 1969. Remarks: husband suspected of bomb explosion;
she was released after he died under interrogation.

Rima Tannous, born 1952, of Irbid, was arrested in 1972
and sentenced to life imprisonment plus ten years. Remarks:
Black September, hijacked Sabena plane to Lydda airport
with Therese Halsa.

Khadra Tarrabin, born 1930, of Sinai, was arrested in
1972.

Anifa Tawabda, born 1929, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972.
Fatma Tawf, born 1935, of the West Bank, was arrested in
1975.

Raymonda Tawi1, of Acre, was arrested in 1978 and sentenced
to 45 days administrative detention. Remarks: charged
with photographing March demonstrations and released after
international outcry; writer and AFP correspondent, she was
placed under house arrest in 1976 after refusing to stop filing
stories of the occupation; beaten up.

Smia Tawil, of al-Bireh, was arrested in 1969 and sentenced
to 5 years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP and Supers01
and British Consulate explosions; in court R. Odeh said she
told Tawil to confess "only because she herself wanted some
respite from being tortured and to prevent the young girl from
being tortured as well."

Najah Tayeb, born 1956, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1975.

Nadia Tayei' of al-Bireh was arrested in 1979. Remarks:
suspected involvement in Mahane Yehuda explosion; arrested
May or June 1979, still not sentenced by February
1980; student.

Wife of Sheikh Ali Tazziz, of Jerusalem, was arrested in
1969. Remarks: Tamimi's funeral demonstration; husband,
president Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce.

Mother and sister of Abu-Hittam Tewfiq, of Majdal Krum,
was arrested in 1971. Remarks: held on suspicion of giving
him food and shelter when he infiltrated from Lebanon.

Aziza Tewfiq of Jenin was arrested in 1976.

Suad Tewfiq of Nablus district was arrested in 1977 and
sentenced to 7 months imprisonment. Remaxks: member illegal
organization; schoolgirl.

Miyassar Touda, born 1950, of Gaza camp, was released
in 1972.

Sirine Turjuman/Azhiman, 35, of Jerusalem, was arrested
in 1974 and sentenced to 1 year or a fine of IL 4,000. Remarks:
distributed pamphlets calling for boycott of municipal elections.

Noha Uksaya/Akshiya, 17, of Shajaya camp, was arrested
in 1970 and sentenced to 1 1/2 years imprisonment plus 2 1/2
years suspended. Remarks: member banned student union,
participated in 5 demonstrations and incited other schoolgirls
against the military governor.

Lamis Wahab of the West Bank was arrested in 1979 and
sentenced to 1 1/2 years imprisonment.

Suad Wahab, 40, of Nablus, was arrested in 1971.
Remarks: head of Fateh cell; arrested with F. Hallak and a
man from Nazareth.

Nuhad Wahdan of al-Eireh was arrested in 1975 and
sentenced to one year imprisonment.

FairouzFaiza Washahi, born 1953, of the West Bank, was
arrested in 1976 and sentenced to 15 months imprisonment.
Salama Wasidi, born 1950, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972.

Nabila Wazir of Gaza was amsted in 1969. Remarks:
member schoolgirl cell.

Siham Wazni, 18, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. Remarks: PFLP and
Supers01 explosion; high school student; deported to Jordan;
lawyer said confession extracted by torture.

Azziya Wazwaz, of Jericho, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.

Halima Widi, born 1927, of Gaza, was arrested in 1973
and sentenced to one month in administrative detention.

Paula Witkam, 26, of kyden (Holland) was arrested in
1974 and sentenced to 3 1/2 months imprisonment plus 26 1/2
months suspended. Remarks: arrested at bridge carrying message
in invisible ink from Fateh.

Maha Yahia of Jericho was arrested in 1974.

Uhud Ya'ish, 16, of Nablus, was arrested in 1969 and
sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. Remarks: placed explosives;
schoolgirl.

Yasmine Yasmine, 12, of Kalandia camp, was arrested in
1979.

Maha Yissan of a1-Bireh was arrested in 1975 and sentenced
to one year imprisonment.

Ataf Yusuf, born 1957, of al-Jania, was arrested in 1979.
Remarks: Fateh and involved in Mahane Yehuda explosion;
teacher; family home demolished.

Khafja Yusuf, born 1912, of Gaza camp, was arrested in
1972.

Fatma Zaamim, 23, of Gaza, was arrested in 1972.

Naima Zaaroub, born 1956, of the West Bank, was arrested
in 1972.

Mabrouk Zadouh, born 195 1, was arrested in 1971.

Ibtissam Zaki of Nablus was arrested in 1971 and sentenced
to 5 years imprisonment. Remarks: member banned
organization.

Zainab Zalahat, 16, of Mughazi camp, was arrested in
1970 and given a one year suspended sentence and fined IL
500. Remarks: inciting disturbances at school.

Khadra Zarba'i, 66, of Nuseirat camp, was arrested in 1976
and sentenced to one year imprisonment.

Narriman Zatrout of Nablus was arrested in 1976 and
sentenced to 1 year and 3 months imprisonment. Remarks:
Fateh member.

Amal Zeitawi of Ramallah was arrested in 1978 and fined
IL 10,000. Remarks: failure to pay within 24 hours punishable
by 6 months in jail; demonstration.


Fathiya Ziadeh was arrested in 1973 and sentenced to 7
months imprisonment with 11 months suspended.
