Jews believe that their messiah will be revealed after the Jews destroy Rome, and slaughter
her inhabitants. Their messiah will tell the Jews to take all the gold and silver from Rome.

Comrade Morris Kominsky, the American Jewish communist, who you may have meet before on this blog, attempted to debunk the quote below as a fraud back in 1970.

"As soon as the King Messiah will declare himself, He will destroy Rome and make a wilderness of it. Thorns and weeds will grow in the Pope's palace. Then he will start a merciless war on non-Jews and will overpower them. He will slay them in masses, kill their kings and lay waste the whole Roman land. He will say to the Jews: "I am the King Messiah for whom you have been waiting. Take the silver and the gold from the goyim."

Kominsky took the quote from Freemasonry is Jewry, a c.1952 pamphlet by Lyrl Clark Van Hyning of Chicago, an anti-Zhidomasonstvo. I've not found the quote in that format in any earlier publications, but the quote does have very secure foundations in rabbinic literature.

The rabbinic text that the quote is clearly based on, was published for the very first time in English in 1997. It's known as the Aggadat Mashiah, it is classified as Midrashic literature, and although thought to date from the first half of the 5th century AD, it has only been found in Rabbi Tobias ben Eliezer's 1097AD commentary on the Torah, entitled Leqah Tov (or Pesiqta ' Zutarta), and appears in Eliezer's comments on Numbers 24:17-19.

Rabbi Tobias, the leader of the Rabbinical Jews in the Byzantine/Balkan region, who wrote the Leqah Tov, has evidently been very influential amongst Rabbinical Jews, the tradition of the placing of stones on a grave is believed to be derived from his writings. The destruction of Rome by (one of) the Jewish messiahs, is proclaimed openly by Jews.

This is the passage which the quote derives from:

"And a heavenly voice proclaims a second time, 'Go to Edom (Rome) and execute there my vengeance!' As it is said, And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel [Ezekiel 25:14]. And a heavenly voice proclaims a third time, 'Do to her as Joshua did to Jericho!' And they surrounded the city and blow trumpets, and the seventh time they raise a battle-cry: 'Hear Israel! The Lord our God, the Lord is one!' [Deuteronomy 6:4]. And the walls of the city fall, and they assemble within it and find her young men dead in her squares, as it is said, Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, etc. [Jeremiah 49:26]. And after this they gather all the spoil and Israel seeks their God and David their king. And thereupon the King Messiah is revealed to them. And he says to them, 'I am the King Messiah, for whom you have waited!' And he says to them, 'Take the silver and the gold.' And they take it and ascend [to Jerusalem],"
