of the Nazi war criminals 1945 - 2005,
the Nazis' own records, so thorough they "recorded
everything - from the number of lice on
a prisoner's head to the exact moment of
their execution." Are
now opened to the public.
Problem is; at the Nuremberg Trial,
it was stated: "the
records they kept about concentration
camps appear to have been incomplete." And
regarding the largest purely
extermination camp, Treblinka, where
more than 800,000 Jews were killed: "the
Germans did not bother to keep any
records concerning the number of Jews
deported to this camp and killed there"
Something doesn't add up.

The 11-nation commission in charge of the vast Nazi German archive documenting war crimes have agreed to open it up to public access.
The 47 million files hold Nazi records of forced labourers, concentration camp victims and political prisoners.
The Nazis recorded everything - from the number of lice on a prisoner's head to the exact moment of their execution.
