Professor rabbi Leo Jung (1892 - 1987)
was born in Moravia, educated at
Cambridge,
later becoming a prominent Jewish leader
in New York. He received a rabbinic
ordination from Rabbi Kook the Elder,
chief Ashkenazi rabbi of Palestine, a
religious Zionist, and unashamed Jewish
supremacist. Jung & Kook, toured
the UK gathering signatures supporting
the pending Balfour Declaration (1917).
.
Jung was also married to a Rothschild.
In 1945 he published an article in two
editions of the American
Journal
of Economics and Sociology entitled Judaism
and the New World Order.
In 1946 the article appeared as a
chapter in volume one (the second
volume published in 1949) of Leo Jung's
book Israel of Tomorrow,
with the revised title of Jewish
Foundations of the New World Order.
"the New World Order may in itself spell
the
realization of the hope of the Hebrew
Prayer ... "
"... Judaism and the united nations of
the world, in
conformity with the behests of religion,
would bring about
the alternative to enduring darkness and
barbarism,"
"The New World Order is viewed as a step
towards the era when
God will be recognized by all humanity
as the Lord of the universe."
