The World at War is the highly praised
26 episode British documentary series
made in 1973/4
In episode 20 entitled Genocide, which
is about the Nazi's Final Solution, the
word "holocaust"
isn't mentioned, and the makers of the
series cleverly don't give a death total
for
any camp with the exception of Majdanek,
which is put at "tens of thousands"
The
star appearance is undoubtedly from
Auschwitz
sonderkommando Dov Paisikowic, a
Hungarian Jew.
HIGHLIGHTS:
"huge fire made of trees" in a pit "30 x
10" metres
"fat was being taken out of this pit
with a bucket"

the fire

thrown on-top
Helping to gas & cremate some of his
acquaintances
