On December 24, 1921, Churchill wrote to
the 1st Marquess
of Kedleston, George "I
am a most superior person" Curzon:
I see the gravest objections ... to giving all this help and countenance to the tyrannic Government of Jew Commissars, at once revolutionary and opportunist, who are engaged not only in persecuting the bourgeoisie, but are carrying on a perpetual and ubiquitous warfare with the peasants of Russia. ... We want to nourish the dog and not the tapeworm that is killing the dog.
