Sometimes i read this story of Hitler alleged Jewishness. I didn't find cited that nor in Kershaw or in Irving biographies. I ask you
1) If and where are some serorus studies on that issue, or there are only those gossips
2) What is your opinion. To say, it is total garbage or there is not only smoke but a bit of fire.
I remember I read something about documents about Hitler family, seized by Nazis. But not sure.

It's a contentious issue, I upset more neo-Nazis than ho£ocaustians by republishing these old articles. I might deny the 6,000,000 myth, but I'm not into worshipping a dead guy.

There were numerous, and separate allegations Hitler was part Jew. Some made to sell newspapers, some made by fellow antisemitic political opponents, some by Nazis looking to further insult Jews, and bizarrely one made by a senior Zionist propagandist (but I don't know why he did that yet).

Yes, many of the big gun historians brush it off, often without mentioning it. As they give it no credence whatsoever. And yeah, it's been claimed Austrian Chancellor Dollfuss was murdered for uncovering Hitler's Jewishness, and the evidence taken from his home. But David Irving published details of Hitler finding out about the murder, and he certainly had no foreknowledge of it.

The only historian I know who's addressed the allegations stemming from the Austrian newspaper Öesterreichische Abendblatt, which in 1933 caused a storm around the world, is Brigette Hamann in her excellent "Hitler's Vienna." She proves that the claims made were nonsense, not because she can prove Hitler's bloodline, but because that newspaper's editor simply printed nonsense.

But's there's far more. Ross Rosenbaum's "Explaining Hitler" details many of them.

Although I believe the Nazis were unwittingly helped along by Zionists, who wanted Jews driven from Europe. I don't buy the Hitler was a crypto-Jew crap. His paternal grandfather may be uncertain, but his paternal grandmother died over 40 years before he was born, I doubt it was any issue to him. And yes, the name Hitler, regardless of the spelling, (which was also his mother's maiden name coincidently), was immensely rare among Austrian, and common amongst Jews, but that isn't evidence on it's own.

I'd love to find out why this "Hitler's a Jew" claim was made by Winston Churchill's Jewish propagandist:
