Important information that has to get out; that the person representing the top world body in the highly sensitive Afghanistan question, is actually a pro-Israel mole!
Deborah Lyons got this promotion to the U.N. top job in the spring of 2020, well ahead of the U.S. pullout.
When she served as Canada's Ambassador to Israel she got fame in the Jewish Press for her campaigns for "lone soldiers" in the Israeli military, the IDF.The article "Ambassador welcomes Canadian IDF lone soldiers" in The Canadian Jewish News tells the story (January 20, 2020):
Canadian Ambassador to Israel Deborah Lyons and a group of senior Canadian diplomats and military officials welcomed 33 Canadian lone soldiers serving in the IDF to the ambassador’s residence in Tel Aviv for an evening of pizza and socialization on Jan. 16.
The lone soldiers, those without immediate family in Israel, are working long hours far from home and family. “What we wanted you to know is that we’re your family, too,” Lyons said.
Most of the soldiers were from Montreal or Toronto, with a few from Edmonton and Vancouver. Montrealer Robbie Kohos, 21, is serving in combat intelligence – his top pick of three choices during the recruiting process. He’s almost halfway through his two-and-a-half-year service.
“I went to Jewish elementary school, but I actually hated learning anything related to Hebrew studies and Jewish studies.” But a Bar Mitzvah trip to Israel – he says he wanted to go to Europe, but his parents put their foot down – gradually led him to feel a very deep connection. From there, he began hatching a plan to enter the IDF after high school.
As much as he loves Israel, Kohos is just as determined to fulfil his post-IDF dream of returning to Montreal to work in real estate investment, and take back what he’s learned.
“Your knowledge of automatic weapons obviously isn’t going to help you so much in Canada,” he says. “But the lessons you learn, being responsible, learning to take care of yourself, to overcome really hard things. Especially being a lone soldier, moving here, it’s a tough thing.” [...]
There are currently 45 Canadian IDF lone soldiers, among 35,000 Canadian citizens in Israel. One of the embassy’s tasks, Lyons explained, is building bridges to Canadian culture through movies, theatre, music, and dance. She invited the lone soldiers to join in with Canadian cultural events any time they were feeling homesick.
“We both share a love of Canada and a love of Israel,” Lyons said. “We at the embassy are very proud of what you’re doing. It’s really quite incredible. The experience I know that you’re having is going to sustain you for the rest of your life.”
And the Israeli paper The Jerusalem Post tells in the article "Bringing the True North to Canadian lone soldiers in the IDF" (January 16, 2020) that the: "Aim of the event is to show the appreciation and care felt by the embassy for the lone soldiers who’ve left their home to serve in the IDF:
Dozens of Canadian lone soldiers gathered at the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv on Thursday evening, in an event aimed at bringing some of the “True North” to soldiers serving Israel.Organized by Ambassador Deborah Lyons, the aim of the event was to show the appreciation and care felt by the embassy for the lone soldiers who left their homes to serve in the IDF.“I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time ... since I started three years ago,” Lyons told The Jerusalem Post before the event. “It’s important to reach out to both Israelis and Canadians,” she continued, adding that the embassy has been doing a lot of outreach to various groups in the country. To her, “Canadian lone soldiers are a particularly special group. I know some of the parents of these kids and I wanted to reach out and let them know that their Canadian family of the embassy is here if they want to talk hockey and a home-cooked meal.”
Canada’s Defense Attache Col. Rick Thompson told the Post “the ambassador thought it would be a nice gesture to reach out to Canadian lone soldiers and make some social connections and talk hockey ... If you get homesick, we embassy staff are connected to the wider Canadian community.”
There are more than 6,000 lone soldiers serving in the IDF. Many are highly motivated and serve in combat units.
According to Thompson, though the embassy invited all 78 Canadians currently serving in the IDF, a total of 33 attended the event. “We invited everyone but not everyone is available to come,” he said, explaining that some are currently deployed to the Golan Heights, Eilat and the Gaza border.
While Thompson told the Post that the event on Thursday was “primarily a networking event ... Representatives from all sections of the embassy will connect with the young soldiers and see if we can help them out if they have any questions or concerns.”

Could someone see to that this information gets out!It would be interesting to hear the reactions from the new rulers in Afghanistan that this "Western top diplomat" - who in the position as head of the United Nations’ political mission deeply affects their future fate - is actually not a Westerner at all, but a Zionist mole and agent!
Some pictures to remind the Muslim people of Afghanistan, whose lives will be affected by Deborah Lyons' decisions - on the doings of "UN special envoy" Lyons' favourite country Israel and its soldiers that she so dearly supports - against fellow Muslims in occupied Palestine:

The world needs a whole lot more Israel | Jewish Community Voice:
Canada’s ambassador to Israel, Deborah Lyons, applauded and celebrated Israel’s robust and diverse economy and society, the strength and integrity of her judicial system, and her many accomplishments in every field of endeavor, stating that all should be a source of pride to Jews and non-Jews around the world, but reserved her highest praise for Israel’s incredible effort to strengthen social cohesion in Israel, for her efforts to serve as a beacon to Jewish communities around the world, her willingness to share her expertise in medicine, innovation, and technology with developing nations around the world, and, most especially, for sharing her expertise and resources, with boots on the ground, in disaster and war zones anywhere in the world, whether it be Haiti, Pakistan, or Syria. Israel’s humanitarian aid is equaled by few nations, most of which, including Canada and the United States, have much larger economies and populations, and which is why Ambassador Lyons said, “The world needs a whole lot more Israel.”B’nai Brith Canada Congratulates Deborah Lyons, New Canadian Ambassador to Israel
