"Eyewitness descriptions of the
burning procedure suggest that
corpses considered to burn better
than others were placed at the
bottom of the pile of bodies so that
they would help combustion
of the corpses above them." (P.449)
It was put more succinctly than
that.
"Men won't burn without women." -
Treblinka sonderkommando, quoted by
Rachel Auerbach in 1945
"corpses of women were used for
kindling the fires." -
Jankiel Wiernik, 1945
“In Treblinka we learned that little
children burn better than grown men.
All it takes is a match to light
them. That’s why the Germans, damn
them, ordered us to put the children
in the pit first.” -
Eliahu Rosenberg, trial of John
Demjanjuk, Jerusalem
"The SS "expert" on body burning
ordered us to put women,
particularly fat women, on the first
layer of the grill, face down." (p.448)
There must have been plenty of "fat
women" gassed at Treblinka,
according to someone involved in the
cremation process. Which is strange,
as HC BST repeatedly
imply—when insisting 16+
were crammed into each square metre
of a Reinhard gas chambers (p.291)
and 20 were buried in a single cubic
metre (p.418)—that the majority of
Treblinka victims were musselmen:
"starvation conditions of the ghetto"
(p.330)
"deportees upon arrival, weighing 34 kg
on average due to malnutrition" (p.475)
"considering that the deportees to
Treblinka were largely if not
predominantly women and children and
mostly came from Polish ghettos
where they had been subject to
prolonged malnutrition" (p.491)
"What Arad calls "round wooden
sticks" are likely to have been not
sticks but wooden logs similar to those
portrayed in this drawing from
Auschwitz-Birkenau by David Olere:" (p.448/9)
"Evidence"
from former Birkenau Sonderkommando
Hermann Gruenwald, contradicts David
"kremawurst" Olere's method of bone
crushing:
"We used something like an
electric meat grinder. Standing on a
chair, I forced the bones down in
the grinder with my hands and pushed
a button."
"This shows that the results of the
exhumation, burning and crushing
procedure were not nearly as complete as
certain descriptions suggest." (p.449)
HC deliberately omitted the following,
although they quote this eyewitness and
from the cited book many
times in their book:
"Abraham Goldfarb relates:
... we secretly placed in the
walls of the graves whole skeletons
and we wrote on scraps of paper what
the Germans were doing at Treblinka.
We put the scraps of paper into
bottles which we placed next to the
skeletons. Our intention was that if
one day someone looked for traces of
the Nazis' crimes, they could indeed
be found. ..."
What a pity, that no one's ever bothered
to look for this evidence.
"After the end of transports from
the Lodz Ghetto, which in August
1944 went no longer to Chelmno but
to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the remaining
Jewish slave laborers had to work in
removing all remaining traces of the
extermination activity, including
further burning of corpses in the
forest camp." (p.451/2)
But in their free time they played
in a band. Apparently they really
cooked.
"... the author is aware of, like
the bungled last-minute cremation
attempt at Ohrdruf concentration
camp shortly before US troops
reached the area." (p.515)
It's known that it was the Americans
and not the Germans who made the
iconic "cordwood" piles of bodies at Buchenwald,
so it's a fair assumption that the
Americans also made the cordwood
piles of bodies at Dachau, Mauthausen and Ohrdruf. This attempt
a cremating perhaps two dozen
corpses at Ohrdruf, bears
no reassemble to the über-efficient
methods attested to in
the preceding pages of HC BST.
"... the camp Klooga in Estonia
(where a similar bungled attempt
to cremate the bodies of about 2,500
inmates massacred in September 1944
took place as the Red Army was
approaching.)" (p.515)
Documented by the same people who
brought us USSR-54:
The mass shooting of the
Polish prisoners of war in the
Katyn forest was carried out by
the German armed forces under
the cover name 'Staff 537 of the
Construction Battalion,' led by
Lt. Col. Arnes and his
associates Lt. Reckst and Lt.
Hott.
As we can see, the Communists
made a propagandistic fanfare of
Klooga. Which means all facts
were accurately propagated. Just
like with Katyn.
Rachael Auerbach was in a Polish Commie cell with the Berman bros. Jakob Berman ran the Polish secret police for Stalin. His brother was a Zionist who testified at the Eichmann Trial. He was in a Jewish resistance organization whose front was an orphans society. There's something extra fishy about the Berman's and Rachael Auerbach besides being Żydokomuna, but I haven't found a smoking gun yet. Maybe you can.
ReplyInteresting stuff.
Rachael Auerbach testified at Eichmann's trial as well.
